Red, a big, Labrador Retriever, is easy-going, happy and about as sharp as a sack of wet
Milk Bones. Not that he's stupid–
Red is uncomplicated, straightforward; with a heart as big as his bark is deep. What he lacks in brains, Red more than makes up for in heart, guts, energy, enthusiasm and sheer canine charm. He never questions himself or his place in the world, Red knows who he is and he knows what to do: Chase stuff. Chew stuff. (On a really good day, you get to chase something and then chew it.) The only thing on the planet that flusters this tough guy are the attentions of any human female. Red is wild about women and turns into a floppy goofball when around one; especially Mistress, whom he adores. Red is the perfect Oscar to Matisse's fussy Felix, though unlike that other odd couple, the friction here is one-sided.
